We have tried a change this morning with making pieces with colourful frit for our 1st firing. We look forward to seeing the results later! In the meanwhile here is the before shot of the work.

Great pieces and made within the first hour of the course. These will look even better again when held up to the light. Thank you for a lovely day and I am about to go and take a photo of the pieces in the big kiln and will post that here too.
16th March float course before shot 1st firing
It’s nearly 1pm and nobody wants to stop for lunch – too busy playing with fun colours! It is really quiet in the kitchen as people are concentrating and good news it’s stopped raining and the sun is out.
We are looking forward to seeing the results of the 1st firing.
