Fusing with float 24th Jan – first firing

Some before and after shots of the lovely pieces you made. You were a delight to work with and lovely to meet you all. Also a shot of the kiln, fully laden before I  hit the go button – which I now have :-). Pictures of your lovely pieces to follow once they are fired and slumped.

Another lovely group last weekend and some lovely work, I’ll post the before and afters with the metals later today, meanwhile enjoy what you’ve made although the pics don’t so them justice!

Fusing with Float, 19th July

Wow, what can we say, there are some truly amazing pieces come out of the kiln this week. The bowls are slumping now but again, wow! A great pleasure working with you all and we hope to see some of you on another of our courses soon.

Final pieces all done

Some lovely stuff here, great to meet you all and in some cases, see you again!

Look how good these are!

Lovely first firing pieces and also here is a before shot of the main kiln at the end of a very creative day. This morning when we were getting to know each other several of you said you were looking forward to playing with the glass and that playful approach really shows here, along with thoughtful making – I predict lots of great looking pieces after firing. Thank you for being such a responsive and cheery group we enjoyed the experience of working with you.
